A Vibrant authentic storyteller and speaker, Kiefer Collison has experience in all avenues of Emceeing, from small youth conferences to the BC Indiginous Awards in Vancouver. His humour and passion will shine through for any event.
Keynote Speaker
Kiefer Collison is just a kid from the Rez, who has a message of strength and resilience. He wants to empower people to find the strength in their voices. Growing up on Haida Gwaii in the small village of Old Massett has given Kiefer a unique look at a way of living and the strength in community. On Kiefers time on the reality tv show Big Brother Canada season 9 he had the opportunity to represent all indiginous people on a national scale. Kiefer says it was his greatest honour in life to be a representative for Indiginous peoples in Canada.
Youth Empowerment Talks
Kiefer’s connection to his roots and his culture are as strong as his connection to Youth empowerment. Kiefer knows that the youth is our most valuable resource for our future. Kiefer would talk about not being ashamed to make changes in your own community and talk about the uniqueness of being from the Rez and the benefits we all take for granted. It would be impactful to see the commonalities between them. Kiefer is a self described kid from the Rez, who thinks Rez kids could take over the world.
